The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a well-respected, dynamic and forward-thinking growing Major Contractor based in Brighton. This company emphasises quality, safety, and collaboration, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver efficient, reliable outcomes. This client focuses on projects involving demolition, replacement and refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall leadership and management of the project team
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Oversight of design development and coordination
- Establishment of construction methodology and programme
- Ensuring smooth, timely and efficient site operations
- Full contractual and financial control of the project
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance
- Experience working with demolition, replacement and refurbishment
The ideal candidate:
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within a major / regional contracting organisation
- Track record of delivering large-scale projects valued at £20m+
- Strong client, design team and project team management skills
- Excellent technical, contractual and commercial understanding
- Demonstrable focus, drive and leadership capability
- Experience delivering public sector schemes under NEC contracts (highly advantageous)
