The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a contractor for an experienced Site Manager to support a hospital fit-out and refurbishment project in Kensington. This is a night shift requirement, initially for 3-4 weeks, with potential for extension.
Working within a live healthcare environment, you will be responsible for overseeing night-time operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing night shift site operations within a live hospital environment
- Overseeing installation works including drainage, general building, and M&E packages
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth delivery of works
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance
- Monitoring progress and ensuring works are completed on schedule
- Liaising with project stakeholders and reporting on site activities
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Valid SMSTS certification
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Experience working in live environments (healthcare preferred)
- Strong understanding of M&E coordination and drainage installations
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
