The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a contractor for a project in Kingston Upon Thames. This client is a residential contractor currently building traditional build. This is a fixed term contract position for 40 weeks.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, implement and monitor the site program
- Schedule daily activities for trades and subcontractors
- Coordinate material deliveries to ensure the project stays on track
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation (e.g., CDM regulations, risk assessments, method statements)
- Maintain safe working practices across the site
- Conduct site inductions and daily briefings
- Inspect and monitor workmanship to ensure it meets project specifications and building regulations
- Ensure site is secure, well organised and tidy
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working for a residential contractor
- Experience working as a Site Manager
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management
- Relevant tickets
