The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable contractor who specialises in the delivery of refurbishment projects. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating trades, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations on site
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Monitor progress against programme and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain quality control and ensure works are completed to specification
  • Identify and resolve any issues or delays on site
  • Report regularly to senior management and liaise with clients and consultants
  • Drive productivity and maintain high standards across the site

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurb projects
  • Strong background in construction
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage programmes and drive progress on site
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
