We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Project Surveyor to join our growing team in our brand-new Sway office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with high standards, strong technical ability, and a keen eye for detail to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects.

The Role

  • Take full responsibility for managing construction projects from initial conception through to completion, including:
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing all project stages
  • Managing building contracts, ensuring full compliance and issuing necessary notices (payments, delays, instructions, etc.)
  • Monitoring performance to ensure projects meet specification, programme, budget and quality targets
  • Procuring and appointing contractors and suppliers, maintaining strong working relationships
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance across all sites
  • Reviewing costs, valuations and issuing variations and contract instructions
  • Preparing tender documentation, evaluating returns and reporting
  • Attending site meetings and providing clients with clear updates on progress and costs
  • Supporting cost planning and value engineering activities

About You

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring strong construction project expertise. You will have:

  • Proven experience managing construction projects (residential, commercial or education preferred)
  • Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of CDM, Building Regulations and construction processes
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
