Candidate required: Contracts Manager\\n Job Type: Permanent\\n Start date: Immediate\\n Industry: Construction Professionals\\n Location: Croydon\\n Salary & package dependant on experience: £65-85,000 DOE \\n\\n The role & about the client:\\n ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established refurbishment and building contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across London and the South East. Specialising in internal and external refurbishments, occupied-property upgrades, planned works, and commercial fit-outs, this contractor is experiencing continued growth and is now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in refurbishment to oversee multiple schemes, lead operational teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.\\n\\n Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\\n \\nManage multiple refurbishment projects across residential, commercial, and public-sector buildings \\nProvide leadership to Site Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors \\nOversee planning, programming, resourcing, and day-to-day delivery \\nMaintain strong communication and relationships with clients and stakeholders \\nEnsure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual obligations \\nMonitor budgets, variations, commercial performance, and project reporting \\nCarry out site inspections, resolve on-site issues, and ensure smooth project progression \\nSupport pre-start planning, tender reviews, and project handover documentation The ideal candidate will have: \\nProven experience as a Contracts Manager within refurbishment, planned works, or general building \\nStrong understanding of occupied-property projects and customer care requirements \\nExcellent leadership and communication skills \\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously \\nGood commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, programmes, and KPIs \\nStrong knowledge of health & safety regulations \\nExperience working with clients, housing associations, local authorities, or main contractors \\nFull UK driving licence \\n How to apply:\\nPlease send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence.\\n\\n Equal Opportunities:\\nThe ITS Group is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
