We are partnering with a dynamic, design-led residential developer known for delivering high-quality, characterful homes across the South Coast. With an exciting pipeline of projects and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Buyer to strengthen their commercial team. This is a business with energy, ambition, and a genuine passion for building homes the right way.
The Role
A fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute and driven Buyer to take ownership of procurement across multiple live and upcoming developments. You will work closely with Commercial and Site teams to ensure materials, plant, and subcontract packages are procured efficiently, competitively, and in line with programme — without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, plant, and subcontract packages to meet programme and budget requirements
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure best value
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships
- Support accurate forecasting and procurement scheduling
- Contribute to cost control, value engineering, and supply chain improvements
About You
- Experience in a Buying or Procurement role within housebuilding or residential construction
- Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building ability
- Solid knowledge of construction materials and residential build processes
- COINS or similar system experience beneficial
