Role Overview

As Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day site operations on construction projects.
  • Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Chair site meetings and provide progress updates to senior management.
  • Ensure all site documentation and reporting requirements are maintained.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager within a main contracting environment.
  • Experience delivering construction projects from start through to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are typically expected.
