Role Overview
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will oversee site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, in line with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
- Manage project budgets and work closely with the commercial team to control costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Chair progress meetings and provide regular project updates to senior management.
- Identify and manage risks and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure high standards of quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle from pre-construction to completion.
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.
