An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing regional contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work. This role offers the chance to take full commercial responsibility for your own projects, typically ranging from £2m to £10m, with a particular focus on care homes and supported living developments. You will be joining a close-knit and collaborative commercial team, working alongside senior leadership, where you will play a key role in delivering projects from inception through to completion.
The Role:
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account
- Running your own schemes with values between £2m–£10m
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Projects & Pipeline:
- Strong pipeline of secured work across the region
- Current projects include a fit-out scheme in Gloucester and a live project in Coventry
- Further projects due to start in the near future
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Proven track record of managing projects independently
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experience working on similar value construction projects
- Full UK driving licence
