About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to work on various construction sites around Southam. This temporary position requires someone who is confident operating a forklift in busy, outdoor construction environments, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently to support ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move building materials on construction sites
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment
- Work closely with site managers and other team members to coordinate material deliveries and placement
- Ensure accurate handling and storage of materials to prevent damage
Requirements:
- Valid forklift driving license/certification
- Proven experience working as a forklift driver, preferably on construction sites
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to work in outdoor and sometimes demanding environments
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
