The Opportunity

ITS Construction Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a well-established national residential developer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a live housing development in Coventry, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will be joining a professional project team with the potential for ongoing work for the right individual.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of a live residential development.
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with programme and quality expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety across site.
  • Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
  • Ensure labour, materials and plant are effectively managed.
  • Drive programme performance and resolve any site issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential housebuilding sector.
  • Strong background delivering new-build housing developments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of NHBC standards and current health & safety legislation.

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black or White Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
