Electrical & Mechanical Estimators / Project Managers — Multiple Roles 📍 Cheltenham About the Company Our client is a long-established, family-run building services company, delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical design, installation and maintenance services since 1935. Operating across Cheltenham, Hereford and Nottingham, they work on projects ranging from £150 to £10 million across healthcare, education, MOD, MOJ, leisure, commercial and local works/maintenance sectors. Their combined M&E capability spans electrical systems (power distribution and control systems) and mechanical systems including HVAC, piping and structural components, alongside specialist services such as LED lighting upgrades, EV car chargers, plumbing and heating, gas boiler upgrades, ventilation, solar panels and compliance work. They've delivered notable projects including Cheltenham Racecourse and St. James's Place, and count Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Barclays, Lloyds, Skanska and Kier among their client base. Due to continued growth, our client is currently recruiting across several key commercial and project delivery roles: * Electrical Estimator * Mechanical Estimator * Electrical Project Manager * Mechanical Project Manager The Roles Estimators (Electrical/Mechanical) * Preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical or mechanical installation projects, from small works through to multi-million-pound contracts * Analysing tender documentation, drawings and specifications to produce competitive, detailed pricing * Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and negotiate rates * Working closely with the design and project delivery teams to ensure estimates reflect practical delivery requirements * Supporting the bid/tender submission process from enquiry through to award Project Managers (Electrical/Mechanical) * Managing the end-to-end delivery of electrical or mechanical installation projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget * Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle * Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for project delivery * Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and CDM 2015 throughout * Managing project costs, variations and commercial reporting in conjunction with the commercial team About You * Proven experience in an Estimating or Project Management role within the electrical or mechanical building services sector * Strong technical knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems, depending on discipline * Experience working on projects across a range of values, from smaller works through to multi-million-pound contracts * Excellent communication, negotiation and client-facing skills * Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND, ONC/OND, or equivalent experience) preferred What's on Offer * Competitive salary, dependent on role and experience * The opportunity to join a well-established, family-run business with a strong reputation and secure project pipeline * Varied project exposure across healthcare, education, defence/justice, leisure and commercial sectors * Genuine long-term career development within a growing business
