  • Ensuring additional hire, extensions and changes to scaffold requirements are captured and commercially recovered.
  • Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts with clients and contractors.
  • Reviewing contract documentation, terms and conditions and identifying commercial risks.
  • Managing procurement and supporting the commercial review of subcontractor and supplier packages.

  • Experience managing commercial accounts within a specialist subcontractor environment.
  • A good understanding of construction contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and commercial reports.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and commercial negotiation.
  • The ability to identify commercial risks and opportunities and take appropriate action.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence dealing directly with clients and contractors.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and commercial deadlines.
  • A proactive and commercially driven approach, with the confidence to take ownership of project accounts.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and relevant commercial software.

The business offers a collaborative, hands-on environment where commercial knowledge, practical understanding and a proactive attitude are valued.
