ITS Building People are a well-established recruitment business with over 50 years’ experience and a strong reputation within the construction sector. Due to continued growth within our Construction Professionals division, we are looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment or Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in white collar construction roles.
We are open to consultants with experience in either the freelance or permanent market, or those who have operated across both. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team with strong existing client relationships, whilst also offering the autonomy to develop your own desk and client base.
Typical roles covered include Site Managers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Managers, Contracts Managers and other professional construction positions across main contractors, developers and consultancies.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the full 360 recruitment process from business development through to placement
- Developing new business opportunities within the white collar construction market
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Sourcing high quality candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and database searches
- Managing client meetings both virtually and face to face
- Negotiating fees and terms of business
- Managing multiple vacancies at any one time
- Working collaboratively with the wider ITS team to maximise opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
- Meeting and exceeding activity and financial targets
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous recruitment experience within construction or a related professional sector
- Experience recruiting within either freelance (contract) or permanent markets
- Strong business development skills and confidence in winning new clients
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A proactive and driven approach to sales
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
