Rate of Pay: £180.00 - £220.00 per day

Duration required: Initial contract via agency/direct for 12-16 weeks, then permanent based on performance.

Job description: Bathroom Fitter required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in multiple projects. ITS Building People are looking for an experienced and hardworking Bathroom Fitter to assist our client with a project based in all Across Sussex. Own transport is preferred. This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime. Additional training and a full-time contract may be provided for the right candidates.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Complete full bathroom installations: First & second fix plumbing, tiling, carpentry, sealing, & finishing.
  • Carry out remedials, refurbishments, & upgrades to a high standard.
  • Read drawings/specs, plan materials, & keep sites tidy and safe.
  • Liaise with customers and the office to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.

Requirements for the role:

  • Proven experience as a bathroom fitter/wet room installer.
  • Strong skills in plumbing & tiling, basic carpentry & plastering desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in finish.
  • Full UK driving licence and your own tools.
  • Able to read off drawings.
  • The ability to perform physical manual labour.
  • You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
  • Own tools are required.

Training/Progression opportunities: there may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management.
