An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP BIM Technician to join a growing Building Engineering team based in Leeds, working on major projects across the data centre, healthcare, rail, industrial and science sectors. This role offers the chance to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality BIM solutions on some of the UK's most complex and innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate high-quality, data-rich 3D BIM models and drawing packages using Revit MEP
  • Support BIM delivery from concept through to project completion
  • Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural disciplines to ensure efficient, buildable designs
  • Utilise industry-leading digital tools including Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC/Forma, BIM360 and BIMCollab
  • Support and mentor junior team members and apprentices
  • Contribute to BIM delivery in line with ISO 19650 standards
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within BIM and digital workflows

About you

  • BTEC ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent BIM qualification
  • EngTech qualified or working towards accreditation
  • Minimum 4 years' experience using Revit MEP within the building services industry
  • Strong understanding of BIM processes, EIRs, BEPs and model coordination
  • Experience producing models and drawings with limited engineering input
  • Good knowledge of MEP systems and service coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to deadlines

Desirable Experience

  • ACC/Forma and BIM360 collaboration platforms
  • BS EN ISO 19650 knowledge
  • Revit family creation and maintenance
  • Dynamo, Python or other automation/programming skills
  • Experience within multidisciplinary project teams
