Job description:
Experienced Movax Operator required for a regional contractor. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Movax Operator to assist our client with a project based in Edenbridge, Kent. Own transport would be beneficial but public transport is available near this project.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Safely operate excavators fitted with MOVAX piling attachments.
- Install and extract sheet piles in accordance with project specifications.
- Position piles accurately and maintain the required line, level, and alignment.
- Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects.
- Work closely with piling supervisors, banksmen, slingers, and groundworkers.
- Follow site risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans, and safety procedures.
- Maintain safe working distances and ensure exclusion zones are respected.
- Monitor machine performance and report mechanical or hydraulic faults.
- Follow construction drawings and site instructions to achieve the required piling depth and positioning.
- Maintain good communication with site management and other plant operators.
- Keep the machine and attachments clean and in good working condition.
- Complete daily plant checks and operational records as required.
Requirements for the role
- CPCS OR NPORS with CSCS Logo
- Competence experience operating the machine
- Reference upon request
- Full PPE
- Own Transport due to location
