Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant looking for the opportunity to build, develop and grow your own specialist Industrial desk? ITS Building People is one of the UK's leading recruitment businesses, with over 50 years of industry experience and a network of 19 offices nationwide. Whilst renowned for our success within construction recruitment, we have ambitious plans to expand our Industrial division and are looking for an experienced consultant to help drive that growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated recruiter who wants greater autonomy, genuine career progression and the chance to establish and grow a specialist market within a well-established business.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for developing and managing your own Industrial desk, working with established clients whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities across Southampton, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to build a specialist division with the backing, infrastructure and support of an established recruitment business.

You’ll have the support of an experienced management team, established systems and dedicated resourcing support, allowing you to focus on growing your desk and maximising your earnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing client relationships across the Industrial sector.
  • Generating new business through sales activity, networking and market mapping.
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement.
  • Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality candidates.
  • Conducting client meetings and site visits.
  • Building a strong pipeline of candidates and future business opportunities.
  • Working towards and exceeding agreed sales and performance targets.
  • Developing long-term relationships with local employers and workforce communities.

What We're Looking For

We are keen to speak with ambitious recruiters who:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience.
  • Have experience within Industrial, Driving, Commercial, Construction or a related recruitment sector.
  • Are commercially driven and motivated by success.
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Enjoy developing new business and managing client accounts.
  • Have experience managing temporary and contract recruitment.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
