Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Southampton office and play a key role in expanding our Groundworks, Civils & Infrastructure division across the South Coast and surrounding regions. The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for developing and managing your own specialist Groundworks, Civils & Infrastructure desk, working with established clients whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities across the region. This role offers the opportunity to develop an existing market whilst having the autonomy to build your own network, client base and candidate pool.

- Groundworkers
- Dumper Drivers
- Roller Drivers
- 360 Excavator Operators
- Banksmen & Traffic Marshals
- Pipelayers
- Skilled Operatives
Projects may include:
- Residential
- Infrastructure
- Roads & Highways
- Utilities
- Drainage & Earthworks
- Rail Infrastructure
- Commercial Developments
- Civil Engineering Schemes
You’ll have the support of an experienced management team, established business infrastructure and dedicated resourcing support, allowing you to focus on growing your desk and maximising your earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing client relationships across the Groundworks, Civils & Infrastructure sector.
- Generating new business through sales activity, networking and market mapping.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement.
- Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality candidates.
- Conducting client meetings and site visits.
- Building a strong pipeline of candidates and future business opportunities.
- Working towards and exceeding agreed sales and performance targets.
What We're Looking For
We are keen to speak with ambitious recruiters who:
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience.
- Have experience within Groundworks, Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Construction or a related recruitment sector.
- Are commercially driven and motivated by success.
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Enjoy developing new business and managing client accounts.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
