Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative
Location: Southampton Area
Pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
- Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hour lunch)
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative to join a busy and growing team.
This is a varied role that would suit someone with experience in driving, route planning, and warehouse operations. Experience planning deliveries into London and surrounding areas would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and routing daily deliveries
- Driving company vehicles when required
- Coordinating transport schedules and customer deliveries
- Assisting with goods in and stock control
- Picking and packing orders during quieter periods
- Supporting the warehouse team as required
- Maintaining accurate delivery and transport records
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous driving and transport planning experience
- Good geographical knowledge, particularly of London routes (preferred)
- Warehouse experience, including goods in and order picking
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A flexible attitude and willingness to help across different departments
- A full UK driving licence
