Job Type: Temp to Perm

Start date: Immediate

Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM

Industry: Construction Trades

Location: Across East & West Sussex (e.g., Brighton & Hove, Worthing, Crawley, Eastbourne, Horsham).

Rate of Pay: £180.00 - £220.00 per day

Duration required: Initial contract via agency/direct for 12-16 weeks, then permanent based on performance

Multi Trade required for a highly regarded regional developer that specialises in multiple projects. ITS Building People are looking for an experienced and hardworking Multi Trade to assist our client with a project based in all Across Sussex. Own transport is preferred. This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • First & second fix plumbing, tiling, carpentry, sealing, & finishing.
  • Carry out remedials, refurbishments, & upgrades to a high standard.
  • Read drawings/specs, plan materials, & keep sites tidy and safe.
  • Liaise with customers and the office to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.

Requirements for the role:

  • Strong skills in plumbing & tiling, basic carpentry & plastering desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in finish
  • Full UK driving licence and your own tools able to read off drawings
  • The ability to perform physical manual labour
  • You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.
  • Own tools are required

Training/Progression opportunities:

  • There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
  • Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
