About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our growing team based in Yeovil. This role involves working on a variety of commercial projects including offices, retail units, industrial sites, and public buildings. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of electrical systems, ensuring all work meets current regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial environments
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics efficiently
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations (BS 7671)
- Conduct testing and inspection, producing relevant certification
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Proven experience in commercial electrical work
- Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
