We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to join our team on a major one-year project at St Austell College. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and reliable Electrical Tester to secure long-term work on a well-established project.
The Role
As an Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical installations to ensure they are safe, compliant, and completed to the required standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Testing and inspecting electrical installations
- Completing electrical testing and certification
- Identifying and reporting defects or issues
- Carrying out remedial testing where required
- Working closely with electricians and site management
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Maintaining accurate testing records and documentation
Requirements
- Qualified and experienced Electrical Tester
- Relevant electrical qualifications and testing & inspection certification
- 18th Edition qualification
- Previous commercial or educational-sector experience preferred
