We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for a 6-week contract on a commercial project in Penryn, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable electrician to join a professional team working on a fast-paced site.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of commercial electrical systems
- Containment work (trunking, conduit, tray and basket)
- First and second fix electrical work
- Wiring, testing and fault finding
- Installation of lighting, power and distribution equipment
- Working safely and efficiently in accordance with current regulations
- Liaising with site supervisors and other trades as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
- Own tools and PPE
- IPAF certification is advantageous but not essential
