About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on the installation of conduit systems and electrical cabling across a range of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical conduit systems (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit)
- Carry out cable installation, routing, and termination in accordance with project specifications
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Ensure all installations comply with current electrical codes and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades
- Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment on-site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician
- Strong knowledge of conduit installation and cable pulling techniques
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Relevant electrical qualifications/certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
