We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Electrician to join our team on a long-term commercial project in St Austell, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician seeking consistent work on a well-managed commercial site, with the potential for ongoing projects.
Location: St Austell, Cornwall
Job Type: Full-time, Long-Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of containment systems, tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
- First and second fix electrical installations.
- Wiring, lighting, power and distribution systems.
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and plans.
- Testing and fault finding where required.
- Working safely and efficiently to current regulations.
- Liaising with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed to programme.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Valid ECS or JIB Gold Card.
- Previous experience working on commercial construction projects.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Strong understanding of current electrical regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
