We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for long-term stability and career progression within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial gas systems and appliances
- Fault finding and diagnostics on a range of commercial heating systems
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current gas safety regulations
- Completing relevant documentation and reports accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A)
- Proven experience in a commercial gas engineering role
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work flexibly and manage workload effectively
Desirable
- Experience working in plant rooms and large commercial sites
- LPG qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
- Electrical knowledge or multi-skilled background
