We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Reading. This is an excellent chance to secure a long-term, stable position with a well-established company after a successful 12-week temporary period. The role involves the delivery and collection of goods across the South of England, including London, with some heavy lifting required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Class 2 deliveries and collections from the Reading depot;
- Cover routes across the South of England and London;
- Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting;
- Complete all paperwork accurately;
- Ensure safe and compliant driving;
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects.
Shift Pattern & Hours:
- 5 on 2 off rotation including weekends;
- 45 hours per week;
- Overtime may be available.
Pay & Benefits:
- £18.00 per hour during the temporary period;
- £42,870 per annum once permanent after 12 weeks;
- Weekly pay during temp period;

Candidate Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence;
- Valid CPC qualification;
