About Us: We are a newly opened fast-casual venue specialising in New York Bagels, sandwiches, and Specialty Coffee. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a unique dining experience in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. As we continue to grow, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our Front of House team as a Barista/Bagel Artist. We are currently hiring for new venues across London.
Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a collaborative team. The Barista/Bagel Artist will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by preparing high-quality beverages, crafting delicious NYC style Bagel Sandwiches, along with providing a memorable, fun and nostalgic experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including quality coffee.
- Master the art of making sandwiches to-go/eat-in.
- Assist customers in selecting menu items, taking orders, and processing payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front counter and coffee station.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
- Follow UK health, safety, and food safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the front of house and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Flexibility to work a casual part-time schedule with the potential for full-time hours based on candidate availability and business needs.
- Must be available on weekends. While you may not be required to work every weekend, we do need to know that you can, if need be.
- Passion for bagels, coffee, and old school hip hop music is a must!
