It’s Bagels is a growing, quality-focused bagel concept with locations in Soho, Notting Hill, and Primrose Hill, with a new opening coming to Hampstead. We’re obsessed with consistency, ingredient quality, and creating something people actually want to eat. We’re not a chain. We care about the craft.

We’re looking for an experienced baker who understands fermentation, dough development, and why a properly made bagel matters. You’ll be the backbone of our morning operation, producing batches of bagels that are consistent, delicious, and ready for service by 6am. You’ll also contribute to recipe development and quality control as we grow.

What You’ll Actually Do:

  • Manage dough fermentation and bagel production in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure consistency across batches while maintaining our quality standards
  • Own kitchen cleanliness, ingredient inventory, and food safety compliance
  • Collaborate with our team on production timing and menu refinement
  • Input on ingredients, suppliers, and production techniques

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a baker or in high-volume food production (at least 2-3 years)
  • Deep knowledge of fermentation, dough handling, and baking techniques
  • Ability to work independently and thrive with early starts (4am at one of the sites)
  • Commitment to food safety and kitchen standards
  • Someone who cares about quality over shortcuts

Pay & Details:

  • £16-20/hour depending on experience (full-time, permanent)
  • In-person, Hampstead or Primrose Hill location
  • Early starts (4am–2pm is a typical day)
  • Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
