The FP&A team in London is looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst to support the business in its continued work toward growth, through both organic and inorganic means. This is a group-wide role and therefore presents a unique opportunity for you to see and influence the full picture regarding our performance. Reporting to our Head of FP&A, working with the FP&A and finance teams, and the wider business including the investors, executive leadership team and senior managers, the FP&A team drives value through accurate reporting, financial planning and supporting the business to ensure its growth is managed and measured. Our success is in our ability to be predictable - which is our mission here at ITRS FP&A. The team works in the office 3 days per week and 2 days from home.
As FP&A Analyst, you will:
- Prepare monthly KPI schedules and board materials.
- Oversee and contribute to company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Develop, improve, and maintain excellent management information, providing fresh insight, highlighting risks and opportunities, and constructively challenging results.
- Drive process improvement and increase efficiencies in the way we work, looking for opportunities to add value.
- Engage with the wider team and drive collaboration between departments to deliver positive change, striving for best practice.
- Own initiatives to improve data quality at source, working closely with Financial Accounting to identify root causes, streamline processes, and enhance the integrity of financial data.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, translating financial data into meaningful information.
- Lead monthly variance analysis across the cost base, strengthening modelling capability and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Analyse complex financial data and reports, and provide accurate financial recommendations including business cases.
Requirements:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified.
- Financial Modelling and Excel skills, and PowerPoint such as preparing management decks.
- Experience in technology and SaaS space is preferable.
- Experience working with high volumes and complex data.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences and confidence to communicate with senior leadership.
- A naturally curious thinker with a deep desire to understand and solve complex issues.
- High organisational skills and ability to juggle and prioritise tasks.
