Scope
This Finance Manager role is a key operational finance position, responsible for the day-to-day management of the core finance functions across the Group. The role focuses on ensuring robust financial controls, efficient and scalable finance processes, and accurate financial reporting across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
The Finance Manager will oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury, and cash management activities, while driving continuous process improvement and automation. A strong emphasis is placed on modernising finance operations, including the use of data, systems, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight.
Reporting to our Group Finance Director in our London HQ, you will have the benefit of a hybrid work schedule, working 3 days per week in the office. This role is being offered as a 3-6 month, full time contract, inside IR35.
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Oversee the delivery of monthly management accounts
- Support the year-end audit
- Co-ordinate and respond to customer compliance matters
- Promote systems and process improvements
- Evaluate and develop revenue recognition policy
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable teams
- Manage credit control and be an escalation point
- Assist the annual budget and quarterly re-forecast process
- Assist the Group FC in the group's external debt compliance
- Support with group tax compliance; corporation tax, sales tax and VAT compliance and other tax filings
- Prepare the groups management accounts
- Manage the groups 13-week cashflow forecast
- Maintain and administer the groups physical and virtual credit cards
- Treasury – approve payments, administration for banking
Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualifications or equivalent with 5+ years post qualification experience
- Experience supporting and presenting to executives and senior management
- Background in implementing financial controls and governance
- Experience in Private Equity backed and SaaS businesses
- Experience in a people management and leadership
- Experience in numeric and data analysis
- Experience of financial control and accounting operations in a multi-entity, multi-currency organisation
- Understanding of recurring revenue (MARR/ARR)
