Technology Project Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

The Technology Project Manager will work to support the Head of Technology Project Management in the discovery, planning, development, and deployment of projects within the Technology Roadmap. The role will be hybrid in that it will contain elements of business analysis, quality control and project management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Discovery – research, requirement gathering sessions, workflow creation, prototyping, user stories, scope definition

• Planning – resource, budget, timeline, risk mitigation, training plan, test plan

• Production of Project Initiation Documents

• Day-to-day management of projects – stakeholder management & collaboration, task management, risk & issue management, change management, project documentation & admin, reporting

• Squad programme management – management of development resources across 3 – 4 project streams, reporting on progress, next steps, and risk

• Quality assurance – creation of test plans, running test sessions, carrying out or witnessing UAT, handling of bugs

• Project closure – assisting with transition into BAU, project end report scheduling of benefit realisation sessions
