We’re looking for a seasoned Test Lead to join a Workday HCM integration project currently preparing for End-to-End testing. The ideal candidate will bring nearly 10 years of experience in Workday deployments, including multiple Workday Launch implementations across SME and Enterprise environments. This is an initial 44-day contract focused on leading test delivery and change activities across a suite of integrations, with strong potential to extend.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the testing and change workstreams, ensuring all functional requirements and integrations are tested against objective KPIs
- Define and run the testing strategy, from planning to execution, including E2E and UAT phases
- Deliver clear reporting to inform test progress and Go/No-Go decisions
- Ensure test data, environments, and dependencies are prepared and aligned to programme timelines
- Coordinate testing across internal teams, vendors, and SMEs, tracking defects and managing re-tests
- Support delivery of key artefacts: test scripts, logs, defect reports, sign-off documentation
- Provide best practice guidance to drive successful delivery
- Design and run a fit-for-purpose change management plan
- Handover change delivery to SMEs post-implementation
- Support input into cutover planning and readiness
- Workday Launch experience is essential
- Approx. 10 years’ Workday experience, with deep expertise in test leadership
- Strong background in both SME and Enterprise deployments
- Confident defining test strategies and KPIs, while being hands-on in test execution
- Able to operate independently in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
- Skilled in documentation, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination
