Technical Pre Sales Consultant:
Position: Full-Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Presales Consultant to act as the IT technical lead for our sales and account management teams. This role is critical in building client trust, crafting cutting-edge solutions, and driving our technical innovation. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technical solutions and client needs, playing a pivotal role in designing roadmaps and delivering differentiated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Leadership
- Serve as the technical expert during client meetings, providing reassurance and outlining IT roadmaps.
- Collaborate with the sales team to design innovative, client-focused solutions.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, showcasing technical expertise as a unique selling point.
Solution Development & Strategy
- Design solutions focused on transitioning from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (Azure, M365, and associated services).
- Integrate security solutions, including firewalls, EDR, MDR, SIEM, and SOC tools.
- Produce detailed topology mapping for clarity in solution designs.
Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Liaise with implementation and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Stay ahead of IT trends and technologies through vendor engagement and continuous learning.
- Mentor colleagues and provide training on emerging technologies.
Sales Support & Innovation
- Provide technical expertise during pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Develop compelling technical roadmaps to secure new business and strengthen existing client partnerships.
- Work across departments to align proposals with operational capabilities and objectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, M365, and associated technologies.
- Experience designing solutions for transitioning from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security tools (e.g., firewalls, EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOC).
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to support sales teams and build client trust.
- Commitment to staying updated on IT innovations.

- Experience in a pre-sales or client-facing technical role within IT services or MSPs.
