We are working with a fast-growing, cutting-edge UK and European technology consultancy known for empowering autonomy, encouraging experimentation, and driving rapid learning to deliver exceptional value to its clients. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in automating, deploying, scaling, and managing modern applications and infrastructure in a secure environment. You’ll work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless, reliable operations, with a strong focus on Cloud Technologies, Automation, Configuration Management, and Scripting (primarily using C# or PowerShell).

This is a contract position inside IR35, and active DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Technologies: Design, implement, and optimise infrastructure on leading cloud platforms.
  • Configuration Management & Automation: Manage cloud systems using tools like Terraform and Desired State Configuration.
  • Source Control: Utilise technologies such as Azure DevOps, BitBucket, and GitLab for collaborative code management and deployments.
  • Scripting & Automation: Write scripts in C#, PowerShell, and JavaScript to automate tasks and operational processes.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Contribute to the full SDLC, including coding standards, peer reviews, build processes, testing, and operational deployment.
  • Continuous Learning: Show eagerness to adopt new technologies, methods, and tools as part of a growth-oriented, innovative environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Strong professional background as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and other configuration management tools.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with source control tools (Azure DevOps, BitBucket, GitLab).
  • Proficiency in scripting with C#, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices across the full lifecycle.
  • A proactive mindset focused on innovation, learning, and high-quality delivery.
  • Must hold active DV Clearance (applications without DV clearance cannot be considered).
