We are supporting a global organisation on a major payroll transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the migration from Workday to CloudPay across a highly complex international footprint. This role requires a hands‑on, delivery‑focused Programme Manager with recent CloudPay implementation experience and strong global payroll migration expertise.
The Opportunity
You will take full ownership of a 12‑month global payroll transformation programme, overseeing the transition from Workday payroll to CloudPay across multiple regions and regulatory environments. You will operate at programme level, managing governance, risk, vendors, stakeholders, and country‑level deployments to ensure a controlled, compliant and timely migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end global payroll migration programme
- Manage transition from Workday payroll to CloudPay
- Establish programme governance, reporting and controls
- Manage RAID logs and executive reporting
- Coordinate HR, Finance, IT, Payroll and Legal stakeholders
- Manage CloudPay vendor relationship and third‑party providers
- Oversee data migration, testing strategy and parallel runs
- Drive country‑level deployment and cutover planning
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
- Deliver within agreed timelines and budget
Experience Required
- Recent CloudPay implementation experience (critical)
- Proven experience delivering global payroll migrations
- Experience transitioning from Workday payroll (highly desirable)
- Experience across 20+ countries
- Managed programmes impacting 3,000+ employees
- Deep understanding of multi‑country payroll compliance
- Experience managing payroll data migration and parallel runs
- Strong governance and executive stakeholder management skills
- Experience within fast‑paced, international environments
- Exposure to tech‑enabled or global service organisations
