Foodservice Equipment Journal, the industry’s go-to news source for multisite operators of commercial kitchens, is looking for an energetic, ambitious Editor. The ideal candidate will lead its market-leading digital, print and social content, driving audience growth and contributing to its seasonal calendar of live events. You should be passionate about connecting with new communities, dialled into tech innovations and bursting with big ideas that deliver value to Foodservice Equipment Journal’s loyal and discerning audience, and the brand.

Requirements:

  • Lead Foodservice Equipment Journal’s editorial content across digital, social, video, print and events.
  • Plan, write, edit and commission content towards an editorial calendar, ensuring daily, weekly and monthly content goals and targets are met.
  • Drive and deliver audience growth across Foodservice Equipment Journal’s digital and social platforms.
  • Collaborate with Editors on sister titles, including Catering Insight, to identify new content opportunities across brands.
  • Use analytics tools to compile weekly reports on content performance, identifying trends/patterns, and using insights to inform future content strategy.
  • Work with a central events department to deliver exceptional annual Awards properties and ad-hoc events across the UK and identify new activations that add value to our brands, audience and clients.
  • Support the Editorial Director by acting as an ambassador for ITP UK, externally by establishing strong relationships in the industry, and internally by developing a strong reputation for project management and collaboration.
  • Support Foodservice Equipment Journal’s commercial team by collaborating on projects that assist with revenue growth.
  • Occasionally attend events outside of office hours.

Experience & Qualification:

  • At least two years in an Editor role, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on multimedia experience (digital, social, video, print).
  • Experience working with a CMS and SEO tools, as well as Adobe InDesign.
