Our client, a market-leading engineering business is seeking an experienced Sales Order Engineering Manager to join their team. The business is built on strong customer service, technical expertise, and quality-focused manufacturing operations, supported by modern design systems and ISO-certified processes.

Lead the local Sales Order Engineering team to support the timely and accurate delivery of engineered-to-order products. Oversee all aspects of technical delivery, from pre-sales application support through production release, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and performance targets.

Lead and coordinate application, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams supporting sales and production functions. Ensure timely generation of accurate build data, drawings, schematics, and BOMs to meet production schedules. Manage engineering document control and change processes, including product improvements and compliance updates. Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and product performance.

Oversee customer-specific engineering projects, support field quality investigations, and assist with technical audits and FATs.

Degree in engineering (BSc / BEng or equivalent). ~5–10+ years' experience in leading technical teams or engineering functions. ~ Professional Engineering status preferred.
