We’re working with a leading name in the UK’s packaging sector, offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical bias engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team at their Bradford site.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and condition reporting
  • Rapid response to breakdowns and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Setting production lines to job specs and optimising equipment performance
  • Fault finding and hands-on problem solving across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement and engineering development projects
  • Playing a key role in health & safety awareness and engineering best practices
  • Assisting with installations, refurbishments, and R&D activities

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience in a production, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding abilities across 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens)
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • A logical approach to troubleshooting and solving engineering issues
  • Experience working as part of a wider engineering and production team

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Exposure to 3D design software or 3D printing technologies
