We’re working with a leading name in the UK’s packaging sector, offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical bias engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team at their Bradford site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and condition reporting
- Rapid response to breakdowns and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Setting production lines to job specs and optimising equipment performance
- Fault finding and hands-on problem solving across mechanical and electrical systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and engineering development projects
- Playing a key role in health & safety awareness and engineering best practices
- Assisting with installations, refurbishments, and R&D activities
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience in a production, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding abilities across 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
- Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- A logical approach to troubleshooting and solving engineering issues
- Experience working as part of a wider engineering and production team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Exposure to 3D design software or 3D printing technologies
