This is a unique opportunity to join a high-potential business and play a key role in shaping its commercial strategy across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive revenue growth in aerospace metals across the UK and Europe, with a particular focus on France and mainland Europe. Reporting to the GM, this role is senior, strategic, and commercially aggressive. The successful candidate will leverage their aerospace industry relationships and metals expertise to open doors, grow existing accounts, and win new business. This is a relationship-led role; it is not an order-taking position.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full commercial ownership of the region on behalf of our client.
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to deliver ambitious growth targets.
- Grow share of wallet with key aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Win new business by leveraging existing industry relationships and deep knowledge of metals.
- Lead and manage a sales team of approximately seven people, coaching and developing talent to achieve results.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to translate technical expertise into commercial outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves:
- Aerospace experience (OEM or supplier side).
- Metals background (aluminium/alloys strongly preferred).
- Established European aerospace relationships.
- Comfortable operating at Director level, influencing senior stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of the French aerospace market.
- Autonomous and results-driven, able to thrive with minimal structure.
Location & Travel
Belfast-based. Typical expectation: 3β4 days per week on-site, with the remainder remote or traveling across Europe as needed.
