Job description
ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our team in Hucknall, United Kingdom on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Mentor Quality Engineers on best practices, fostering a culture of process excellence through continuous improvement.
- Monitor and improve quality performance by analysing KPIs and trend data; support escalation and recovery plans as needed.
- Manage and coach the handling of non-conformance reports (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, engineering, and production teams to promptly address and resolve quality issues.
- Continuously improve performance through data‑driven analysis, corrective actions, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality requirements within the business.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, risks, audit status and progress of strategic initiatives, including Quality improvement Plans.
Essential criteria
- Focused, pro‑active, dynamic individual with a key focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent people and communication skills, able to work with, influence and challenge appropriately all functions at multiple levels to gain trust and engagement.
- Experience in problem solving and the use of tools and techniques.
- Previous experience in a Quality or Engineering role.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional meetings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable criteria
- Familiarity with Aerospace Industry standards/requirements – AS9100/AS13100.
- Knowledge of Customer Supplier requirements – RR: SABRe, PWA: ASQR01, GE: S‑1000.
- Previous audit experience (QMS, Process, Product).
- Working hours
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
