ITP Aero UK are recruiting for an Inspector to join our growing team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time, permanent basis, 37 hours per week on a 3-shift pattern (22% Shift Bonus in addition to basic salary).

What profile are we looking for?

  • It is essential that candidates possess a recognised time-served apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, at either City and Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, and BTEC national or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in using a variety of engineering equipment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions correctly to achieve required product quality.
  • Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate relevant inspection experience of engine components.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable mind-set.
  • Candidates must be willing to develop new skills and undertake training to be able to operate in a flexible manner to support the Business needs.
  • Knowledge of lean principles and process basics.
  • Knowledge of quality tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Has good interpersonal skills.
  • Worked in a customer focused environment that is subject to change.

It is desirable that the successful candidate:

  • Has an NPL level 1 qualification.
  • Has experience working with CMMs.

Who will I work with?

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components.

What are the working hours?

Shifts – 37 hours per week working on the following 3 Shift Pattern: Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm Monday-Thursday, 1.48 pm – 7.00 pm Friday.

What is the remuneration and competitive employee benefits?

Works Level: 3 + 22% Shift Bonus.
