A high‑impact, people‑centred role supporting Engineering, Maintenance and Support Functions across the UK.
As an HR Business Partner at ITP Aero UK, you will have the opportunity to shape and influence the people agenda across our Engineering, Support Functions and Maintenance teams — more than 300 colleagues working across multiple UK sites. In this role, you will work hand‑in‑hand with senior leaders, including the UK Engineering Director, to deliver strategic people initiatives that drive performance, engagement and capability.
You will play an active role in:
- Developing leadership capability
- Supporting organisational effectiveness and change
- Driving talent and succession planning
- Providing strong, pragmatic ER guidance and case management
- Effective and transparent collaboration with our recognised trade unions
As part of a small, collaborative and high‑performing HR team, you will enjoy variety, autonomy and the chance to genuinely shape outcomes. You will also partner closely with the Operations HR Business Partner and may lead or support cross‑site initiatives and business change projects as required.
What profile are we looking for?
Education: CIPD Level 7 or equivalent HR qualification/experience (desirable)
Experience:
- HR Business Partner experience supporting leaders and managers (essential)
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing or technical environments (desirable)
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances (essential)
- Experience in organisational change, restructuring or transformation projects (desirable)
- Experience working collaboratively with trade unions or within a unionised environment (desirable)
Knowledge:
- UK Employment Law (essential)
- HR best practice and employee life‑cycle processes (essential)
- Talent management, succession planning and workforce planning (desirable)
- Apprenticeships and early careers pathways (desirable)
