Are you an experienced Payroller looking for your next role within a dynamic and growing company?
The main functions of this role are to support the payroll operations for both freelancers and employees. This includes ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining compliance with HMRC guidelines, and assisting with various payroll-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Freelance Payroll Support:
- Prepare weekly Purchase Orders to be sent to individual freelancers based on information received throughout the business
- Assist in freelancer tax status evaluation.
- Track freelancer onboarding documents through onboarding tool (Shortlist)
- First point of contact for all freelance payroll queries, assisting where able and escalating appropriately when necessary.
Employee Payroll Support:
- Assist Payroll supervisor with:
- Preparing payroll information for sending to outsource payroll provider (SDWorx)
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of Payroll related control accounts.
Administrative and Reporting Tasks:
- Produce ad hoc reports from data held in Payroll, Integra, and Shortlist systems.
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to changes in freelancer legislation and improvements in freelance and payroll processes

Key Requirements
• Excellent excel skills a must

• Some background knowledge of IR35 / tax status determinations desirable.
• Some pensions auto enrollment experience beneficial.
• Ability to create and maintain good relationships with finance and operational staff
• Highly motivated, proactive, with good oral and written communication skills, and a professional attitude.
