The Learning & Development Business Partner is responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives that build employee capability, performance and career growth across ITN. Working in partnership with people business partners, managers and stakeholders, the role translates business priorities into modern learning solutions and helps embed a culture of continuous learning and development — ensuring ITN’s people have the skills, tools and confidence needed to succeed in a fast-paced creative, editorial, digital and commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning & Development Strategy
- Develop and deliver a Learning & Development strategy aligned to ITN’s creative, editorial, digital and commercial objectives, ensuring learning priorities support business growth and performance.
- Translate organisational goals into relevant and practical learning solutions that drive performance, engagement and progression.
- Identify capability gaps and proactively design interventions that strengthen organisational effectiveness and build future-ready skills.
- Modern Learning Design & Delivery
- Design and develop engaging modern learning programmes across multiple delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, blended and e-learning.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops and onboarding programmes to a high standard, ensuring learning is interactive, accessible and aligned to ITN’s culture.
- Build scalable learning experiences that deliver consistency and quality across departments.
- Learning Evaluation & Impact
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives using data-driven metrics, KPIs and employee feedback, ensuring learning delivers measurable impact.
- Produce insights and recommendations, using evaluation findings to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure governance and reporting supports accountability, learning quality and ROI.
- Innovation, Learning Trends & Technology
- Stay current on learning trends, instructional design methods and learning technologies, bringing innovation and modern approaches into ITN learning design to include AI.
- Support and optimise use of ITN’s digital learning tools to enhance learner experience and reach.
- Budget, Vendors & External Partners
- Manage training budgets effectively, ensuring value for money, commercial awareness and strong supplier governance.
- Source, manage and evaluate external training providers and partners as required, ensuring high quality delivery aligned to ITN’s values and standards.
- Coordinate learning programme logistics, scheduling and supplier relationships to support smooth delivery.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience) would be desirable.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, training, talent development, OD or related roles.
- Strong facilitation and presentation capability.
- Experience designing learning solutions within a fast-paced creative, editorial and digital environment.
- Confident using digital learning tools.
- Experience designing leadership or management development programmes.
- Knowledge of cultural transformation, change management and organisational development.
