We're looking for a driven and experienced Content ID Manager to manage ITN's Content ID and Digital Rights Management operations within its newly formed Digital Department within ITN Productions. As part of this role, you'll be directly responsible for building a best-in-class workflow to ingest, protect and manage ITN's archive, which spans 70 years and over 40,000 hours of content, as well as to protect (where necessary) ITN's Production pipeline for anti-piracy purposes.
As part of this role, you'll work collaboratively with our Video Syndication, Archive, Tech and Post-Production teams to identify and ingest content of high priority, building seamless workflows to deliver that content to YouTube's Content ID tool, as well as managing those assets and claims deriving from ingestion. YouTube Content ID and Rights management experience is a must. Knowledge and working practice of Meta's Rights Manager is an advantage. You'll be well‑versed in platform policy, understanding and driving commercial value from the practice, as well as be comfortable presenting data and insights derived from that work to key stakeholders and colleagues across the business. You'll directly report to the Director of Digital Content.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, scope and deliver an efficient workflow to ingest ITN Archive content into YouTube’s Content ID tool in conjunction with our Archive, Video‑Syndication, Tech and Post‑Production Teams.
- Manage all claims (including potential claims, reference overlaps, conflicts and disputes) as part of the Content ID ingestion workflow.
- Build a data workflow to help support learning and editorial strategy for the Digital, Archive and Video‑Syndication teams (supported by the Director of Digital Content & Corporate Strategy Director).
- Operational support across our platform CMS’s, including new channel set up, role requirements and account management.
Key Requirements
- Work in collaboration with our Archive team on editorial recommendations for Archive Collections.
- Ad‑hoc participation in creative sessions, applying data to creative activation across our digital channels.
- Be the point person for social video anti‑piracy questions, supported by the hiring manager.
