Our PEM electrolysers are deployed in some of the world's largest green hydrogen projects. We continue to push the boundaries of technology, enhancing cost‐effectiveness and sustainability.

We have an opportunity for a Production Electrician, where you will install, terminate and test all cables into ITM's current range of electrolyser modules and skids. This will involve all aspects of electrical work required within the business, including:

  • Wiring ITM products, supporting connections and disconnections of Test bays and supporting maintenance when required.
  • Installations including AC LV Power supplies to PSU's, Electrolysers, Pumps and heaters, as well as ELV circuits and control systems controlled by PLC's.
  • Adhering to the latest ATEX standards for wiring, including the use of flameproof cable transits, safety earthing and ATEX cable glands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work in a production environment, either independently or as part of a small team.
  • Work to and achieve targets as set by local management.
  • Pull all cables into containers and fix to cable tray, considering bend radius and separation of power and signal cables.
  • Terminate all instrumentation as per the wiring schedule.
  • Ensure all wiring and terminations are performed to the latest standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and manage kits effectively.
  • Highlight potential failures before they occur.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.

About You:

  • NVQ level 3 in associated electrical discipline.
  • Electrical C&G 18th edition.
  • Good English and Maths skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Familiar with cable screening and grounding techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent time management skills.
