We have an opportunity for a Production Electrician, where you will install, terminate and test all cables into ITM’s current range of electrolyser modules and skids. This will involve all aspects of electrical work required within the business, including:
- Wiring ITM products, supporting connections and disconnections of Test bays and supporting maintenance when required.
- Installations including AC LV Power supplies to PSU’s, Electrolysers, Pumps and heaters etc., as well as ELV circuits and control systems controlled by PLCs.
- Adhering to the latest ATEX standards due to the production of flammable gas at high pressure.
Responsibilities include:
- Work in a production environment, either independently or as part of a small team.
- Adhere to workplace H&S procedures.
- Pull all cables into containers and fix to cable tray, considering bend radius and separation of power and signal cables.
- Terminate all instrumentation as per the wiring schedule.
- Ensure all wiring and terminations are performed to the latest standards.
- Complete and maintain required testing and inspection documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Highlight potential failures before they occur.
You will additionally be expected to:
- Test, inspect and record results/work for each cable/conductor installed.
- Train others in line with your competency.
- Perform quality assurance and testing checks.
About You:
- NVQ level 3 in associated electrical discipline.
- Electrical C&G 18th edition.
- Good English and Mathematic skills.
- Manual handling.
- Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines.
- Familiar with cable screening and grounding techniques.
- Working in a production environment.
